A Year 11 pupil from Ormiston Denes Academy in Lowestoft has bagged a national creative award.

Scarlett Hogg won the Creativity Prize at Ormiston Academies Trust’s 10th annual awards ceremony for her esteemed talent and leadership skills.

As a music ambassador, she excels in her music studies, consistently earning high grades in the Tech Award for Music.

She also provides support and motivation to her peers according to teachers.

The ceremony, marking the trust's 15th anniversary, took place at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham.

TV and radio presenter Amber Sandu hosted, sharing her personal journey before announcing the award winners.

Kate Williams, principal at Ormiston Denes Academy, said: “We are all incredibly proud of Scarlett for her success.

"Her remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to the arts make her a deserving recipient of the Creativity Prize.

"Her talent, leadership, and commitment to using creativity as a force for positive change are truly inspirational.”
