The site of a former vets and escape room complex on a historic high street could be set for a new lease of life.
The "substantial mixed use building" in Lowestoft is set to be auctioned off next month.
Described as a "valuable and high profile freehold mixed use investment property" on High Street in Lowestoft, it is set to go under the hammer on May 1.
It comes after the five bedroom mixed use property was withdrawn from a previous online property auction in March.
Marketed by Auction House East Anglia once more, and offered in association with Steel and Co, the property at 169-170 High Street is due to be sold on a freehold tenure.
It will go under the hammer at the online auction with a minimum guide price of £300,000, plus fees.
The property description from the auctioneers states: "Substantial freehold mixed use building with three residential flats currently let producing £19,080 per annum and a vacant ground floor office with basement and further detached studio/store to rear.
"This valuable and high profile freehold mixed use investment property comprises of a ground floor and basement commercial unit, two one bedroom flats and a three bedroom maisonette along with vacant studio and parking to the rear.
"The flats currently produce a combined rental income of £19,080 per annum but there is capacity for an increase on all units.
"The ground floor and basement are now vacant but were previously let to a vets and escape rooms."
The Prestige Escape Rooms closed in May last year after four years at different venues on the High Street. It still operates online.
The property description from the auctioneers adds: "Potential may exist to convert this space to further residential accommodation - subject to planning permission - which would enhance the income potential."
