A power saw and grinder were among tools stolen as a van was targeted by thieves.
Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the latest theft from a vehicle in Lowestoft.
It comes after a spate of break-ins, with reports of four other thefts from vans across town in the past week.
A van parked on Monckton Avenue in Lowestoft was broken into in the early hours of Monday, April 8 at around 2.20am.
A police spokesman said: "An unknown person broke into the van and stole tools including drills, a power saw, a grinder and batteries."
Police said that a rear door lock of a vehicle parked on Walmer Road in Lowestoft was damaged at sometime between 8.30am on Sunday and 7am on Monday although no entry was gained.
"Can you help?" the police spokesman added.
