A former escape rooms complex on the coast could be set for a new lease of life.
The site of a former vets surgery and escape rooms in Lowestoft is due to be auctioned off this month.
The "substantial mixed use building" on High Street in Lowestoft is set to go under the hammer on July 24.
Described as a "valuable and high profile freehold mixed use investment property", 169-170 High Street is due to be sold on a freehold tenure.
It comes after the five bedroom mixed use property was withdrawn from a previous online property auction in March, and postponed ahead of an auction in May.
Marketed by Auction House East Anglia once more, and offered in association with Steel and Co, it will go under the hammer at the online auction with a minimum guide price of £250,000 to £275,000 plus fees.
The property description from the auctioneers states: "Substantial freehold mixed use building with three residential flats currently let producing £19,080 per annum and a vacant ground floor office with basement and further detached studio/store to rear.
"This valuable and high profile freehold mixed use investment property comprises of a ground floor and basement commercial unit, two, one bedroom flats and a three bedroom maisonette along with vacant studio and parking to the rear.
"The flats currently produce a combined rental income of £19,080 per annum and will be going up to £19,260 in July.
"The ground floor and basement are now vacant but were previously let to a vets and escape rooms, providing an income of £16,000 per annum."
Having previously been let to a veterinary surgery and most recently an escape room entertainment complex, the Prestige Escape Rooms closed in May last year after four years at different venues on the High Street.
It still operates online.
The property description from the auctioneers adds: "Potential may exist to convert this space to further residential accommodation - subject to planning permission - which would enhance the income potential."
