Pupils and families have enjoyed an Olympic-themed sports day at Phoenix St Peter Academy.
The fun event included traditional activities like sack races and tug-o-war, along with Olympic-level sports such as shot put and sprinting.
The day was also musically charged, with an opening parade and choir singing Power in Me and Eye of the Tiger.
Deputy headteacher, Terri Freeman, said: "It was an incredible day with a massive team effort from the whole staff team, volunteers and all the children."
She highlighted that the day’s events complemented the school's various curriculums.
The day's excitement also brought in charitable contributions.
More than £400 was raised by selling refreshments and cakes.
This money is intended for wet play resources for each class.
