A resident's lifelong dream to visit a maritime museum was recently fulfilled in an emotional surprise by his care home staff.
Eric Woodham, a resident of Oulton Park Care Home, finally got the chance to revisit his military past and interests at Lowestoft Maritime Museum.
While he's been there for more than a year, staff only learnt of his wish a few weeks ago.
From then on, they worked hard to make it a reality.

A delighted Mr Woodham said: “I was on the verge of tears.
"It is such an amazing feeling to know that such a loving group of people care so much about my interests – and I didn’t even ask.”
Sarah Wright, general manager at the home, said: “We believe that every moment is worth cherishing.
"We want everyone we care for to know how important they are to us here at Oulton Park.
"It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team here in making our residents’ dreams come true.
"It was wonderful to see how happy Eric was."
