Oulton Broad Water Sports Centre has received a generous donation to upgrade their kayaks and safety equipment.
This funding, gifted by the Asda Foundation's Under 18s Better Start Fund, will let the centre to get new kayaks.
Vickie Cable, community champion at Asda’s Lowestoft Store, said: “We were so pleased we could give something back to the community and support the centre with its great work.”
Centre manager Graham Colam said: "Grants such as the one from Asda are key to us achieving our ambitions.
"We particularly aim to offer our services to young people in the community and these kayaks will ensure that they continue to learn and enjoy their time on the water with us”
With rising activity rates, the centre has noted a more than 50pc surge in children's attendance this season.
It offers a variety of water sports including kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing and more, along with a hiring service.
Summer Activity Weeks for young people are also filling up fast.
