An air ambulance crew landed on the beach near a town's pier as they responded to an emergency.
A crowd of onlookers gathered on the esplanade as the East Anglian Air Ambulance landed near Claremont Pier in Lowestoft this morning.

The emergency services were called at around 11am, with police blocking off part of the esplanade while they dealt with the incident.
A man aged in his 40s was transported to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
