Lowestoft Town manager Jamie Godbold has called on his players "to finish the year on a high."
With just three Pitching In Isthmian League North Division games to be played this month ahead of 2023, Lowestoft now find themselves in the play off positions in fifth place.
Now, as the games come thick and fast - with eight matches to be played in the next 50 days - The Trawlerboys are looking to kickstart another winning run.
Looking to build on their excellent start to the league season, and bounce back after a recent "blip", Lowestoft shared the points with third placed Heybridge Swifts last Saturday.
Jake Reed's excellent first half finish had given The Blues an interval lead, but the Essex side hit back with a second half equaliser as it ended 1-1.
Another Essex side will visit the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium this Saturday, as Lowestoft host 12th-placed Basildon United with an earlier 1pm kick off.
The match has been moved forward given England's progress in the World Cup with the club's turnstiles, bar and food outlets opening from 11.30am.
The Blues travel to Brentwood Town on December 17 before an east coast Boxing Day bonanza as Lowestoft host Gorleston on Monday, December 26 with another 1pm kick off.
Looking to "get back on track" after picking up a point from their opening game of December, Godbold said: "It's imperative we pick up the wins against the teams in the mid-table positions.
"Basildon have had a new manager come in a few weeks ago and we will see when the teamsheet comes in how different their side looks.
"They are a tough side to play against, being strong and physical but we know we need to approach the game with nothing but three points the aim."
Chris Henderson will miss this weekend's match as he serves the final match of his suspension, while Josh Harvey has two more games to serve of his suspension.
Godbold added: "Jake Reed is still struggling with his injury so it was really good to see him score on Saturday.
"Rob Eagle is still no closer, Sam Johnson pulled up in training on Tuesday so he will have to be assessed while Dave Hinton has a muscular injury that forced him to come off on Saturday - so he could be missing a couple of weeks.
"We have had our blip.
"Now the aim is to finish the year on a high - particularly after the good start we had."
