Lowestoft Town manager Jamie Godbold has admitted his players and staff are "looking forward" to returning to action after recent call-offs.
After the previous two Pitching In Isthmian League North Division games at home to Basildon United on December 10 and away at Brentwood last Saturday were postponed, two local derbies now await Lowestoft, who remain in the play-off positions in fifth.
The Basildon home league game has now been rescheduled, and is due to be played on Tuesday, January 10, meaning that between December 26 and January 28, Lowestoft will have seven league games to play over the busy festive and New Year period.
With the away trip to Brentwood still to be rescheduled, The Blues have two tasty local derbies to prepare for over the festive period.
An east coast Boxing Day bonanza will see Lowestoft host Gorleston on Monday, December 26, before a Suffolk derby takes place away at Bury Town FC on Monday, January 2, 2023 - with both matches kicking off at the earlier time of 1pm.
Blues boss Jamie Godbold said: "It has been a bit of a frustrating time and it feels like ages since we last played after the freezing temperatures.
"We held a bit of an interclub game on Tuesday night at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium and it was good to get back on the pitch.
"The Gorleston derby is a game we are looking forward to.
"It is a local derby, with a big crowd expected, and we are looking to get back to winning ways to get our season back up and running.
"Gorleston have had a slight turnover of players, and they will be a different outfit from the time we played them earlier in the season."
With Chris Henderson set to miss Monday's match as he serves the final match of his suspension, Josh Harvey has two more games to serve of his suspension.
Godbold added: "Other than Hendo and Josh, everyone else is fit - including Dave Hinton, who is back having returned after his injury and Eags, who trained on Tuesday.
"So that is great - I've always said we have a strong squad and with everyone back there will be some tough decisions to make."
Admitting both derbies will be "tough" games over the festive period, Godbold added: "With derbies you know it will be close, with lots of support for both teams.
"I am sure we will get a fair few fans going across (to Bury) as our supporters have been fantastic this year - and now we owe them something."
