Against local rivals Acle, Lowestoft Railway’s Ladies BC suffered a 45-71 defeat.
However, the one point gained keeps them in fourth place in the league.
The winning block of Diana Muirhead, Pauline Anderson and Karen Bartram took a point with their 14-12 win.
After being 5-11 down at the 12th end they finished strongly with a five at the 14th and triumphed in style.
Rowena Slawinski and her team of Christina Dunn and Val Mardell only just missed out on a point losing 14-15.
Down 6-15 at the halfway stage they came back and scored eight over the final five ends as they just missed out.
Lorraine George, Margaret Beck and Heather Chennells were pretty level at midway but unfortunately conceded a six at the 10th end which changed the whole scenario as they went down 11-16.
Sally Moon, Glenis Harvey and Irene Hughes suffered a 6-28 reverse, as they won only four ends and were hit with a five and a six as they never really threatened.
The next match is on March 2, Norfolk away.
