Lowestoft Town manager Jamie Godbold has hailed the efforts of his players, describing performances over recent games as "outstanding".
The Trawlerboys made it five successive wins and six games unbeaten in the league and cup with two further away victories in the past week.
A 1-3 away win at Coggeshall Town last Saturday, was followed by a 0-1 victory in the all-Suffolk derby at Felixstowe & Walton United on Tuesday.
Third placed Lowestoft have now moved eight and nine points clear of their rivals in the push for play-off places in the Pitching In Isthmian League North division.
And The Blues have also closed the gap on Hashtag United and AFC Sudbury at the top, after the second placed side lost in midweek.
A comfortable win last Saturday was sealed courtesy of first half goals from Sam Johnson, Kyle Haylock and Jake Reed.
The Seedgrowers had captain Paul Ahern sent off for a foul on Reed in the first half as The Trawlerboys dominated, before adding a consolation after the interval.
An all-action Suffolk derby on Tuesday saw Joe Whight sent off in the 35th minute for Felixstowe.
Lowestoft made all their pressure pay, with Owen Murphy getting the last touch to score in the 58th minute.
They even had the luxury of a missed penalty from Adam Hipperson towards the end, before defender Harry Knights was sent off late on.
But The Blues held on to the delight of Blues boss Godbold, who said: "Our performances have been really top-drawer.
"Both performances were up there with the best we have played all season.
"The boys have been outstanding."
Lowestoft host 18th-placed Hullbridge Sports on Saturday at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium - with a special prize draw competition for all supporters attending the match, courtesy of club community partners Fosters Solicitors.
Fans will be automatically entered into the draw to win numerous prizes.
Next Tuesday Lowestoft face another away trip to 10th placed Brentwood Town.
