BLACK DONALD WILLIAM Of Pakefield, passed away at home after a long illness on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, aged 85 years. Husband to Drena, Father to David and Ruth, Father-in-law to Wendy and Jamie, Grandfather to Madeline and Ellis. Don will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Donald’s wish was for private cremation and his ashes to be scattered in a favourite place but family and friends will be invited to a traditional wake at a date in the future where his life and career will be celebrated. During his time in Lowestoft Donald spent many happy years as Engineer Manager for Colne Shipping. Grateful thanks to Doctor Ben Olaleye at Rosedale Surgery and Jason Lee and Colleagues from The Heart Failure Team for their outstanding care during the past years.
