Preston Beatrice "Trixie" Mother of Richard, Judy, Simon and Lucy, a grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 4, died peacefully in Cambridge on 23rd July 2023 aged 92 years. Trixie and her husband Alan, who worked at the Fisheries Laboratory, came to Lowestoft in 1952 and in her long life contributed to Ladies Circle, the Local Archaeological and History Society and the Lowestoft Ladies LifeBoat Guild as well as long service as a Magistrate. Trixie was a passionate gardener and keen bridge player. In her later years lived happily in Southwold.
