With the new season just two weeks old, three teams remain unbeaten in the Premier Division.
Norwich Ceyms top the table with four wins following a good 3-1 win at Waveney. Darren Smith, Tom Amis and Lewis Allen scoring for the visitors and Tom Morford replying.
Near neighbours Mulbarton are second after an away win of their own, 4-1 at Blofield. Elliot Altay (2) and an own goal gave them a 3-0 lead before Ben Thompson missed a penalty. Blofield replied with a penalty of their own from Robbie Fryers before Thompson made it 4-1 late on.
Last season’s runners-up Harleston have won three out of three – they beat visiting Acle United 6-2. Mark Pearce (2), Nicky Howell (2), Connor Delaney and Nathan Page scored for Harleston with Stephen Drake and Harrison Tooley grabbed the consolation goals for the visitors.
Beccles got their season up and running with a 3-2 win at home to St Andrews. Neil Hurren, Steven Bee and Robert Bishop found the net for the home side with Sam Whiting and Ryan Pye scoring for Saints.
Long Stratton got their first points of the season with a good 3-0 home win over Reepham. Matt Nichols, Sam Page and James Bemrose getting the goals at Manor Road.
Hellesdon and Stalham wrapped up the top-flight games, with Stalham taking a 2-1 win. Daniel Duffield and Jordan Tipple scored from Stalham with Glen Spooner replying for the Dons. Hellesdon lost goalkeeper Tom Coombe to a head injury during the game.
The early First Division table is topped by Sheringham, who won 6-2 at bottom side Loddon. Matt Hare and Shane Smith scored for Loddon, but they were undone by a hat-trick from Chris Fuller as well as goals from Ben Boyce, Tim Carey and Tom Hislop.
Mundford returned from Aylsham with three points after a 4-0 win, with Ian Fancett (2), Ben Coe and Luke Cole scoring for the Stags.
Bungay got their season started with a 1-1 draw against visiting Wymondham. Brandon Solomon scored for Bungay with Ashley Mitchell getting the goal for the away side.
North Walsham beat relegated Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves 4-1 at Greens Road with Colin Perry, Dale Wilton, Ben Graver and Tom Whiley getting the Angels’ goals. Lewis Durbridge scored for Kirkley.
UEA shared the points with visitors Attleborough after a 3-3 draw at Colney. James Axcell, Owen Betts and Alex Cross scored for the home side with Tom Miles, Jak Fuller and Charlie Smith bagging for Boro.
Watton have their first win of the new campaign following promotion after a 4-1 home win over Cromer. Aiden Rayner, Andy Rayner, Ty Bond and Nathan Lawes scored for Watton with Dagless getting Cromer’s goal.
The final game in the division saw promoted Hoveton come back from Scole with a 1-0 win after what was described as “a superb defensive showing.” Rhys Cousins was on the scoresheet for Hoveton.
