Young people are being encouraged to give up their warm beds to spend a night sleeping in cardboard boxes under the stars to raise funds for homeless youngsters.
The challenge is part of the third Sleep Easy event organised by YMCA Suffolk and will be held at YMCA Childcare, St Margaret's Road, Lowestoft, on February 24 from 9pm.
The event will see participants experiencing the reality of what it is like to sleep under cardboard to keep stay warm and dry- as well as hearing about the work carried out by the YMCA.
Rowena Kerslake, chief executive officer of YMCA Suffolk, said: 'Homelessness is detrimental to health, daily life and ambitions and no one should have to experience it.
'Sleep Easy helps not only to raise money to combat youth homelessness, but also helps us to understand a little of how sleeping rough makes life so difficult.'
