A forum was held to offer support for those caring for people with mental health difficulties.
The free, day-long event at the Kirkley Centre featured presentations from guest speakers looking at common conditions such as depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as the support available to carers.
Sarah McPherson, mental health advocacy and support worker at Suffolk Family Carers, said: 'The aim is to empower carers and to make them aware there is support for them.
'Many of them are unaware of the support available to them and today we want to make them aware of services like this.'
