Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a number of high-value items from an Asda supermarket.
Police were called at 2.15pm on Monday to Asda in Lowestoft where two male suspects were seen leaving in a car.
The suspects were followed southbound on the A12 by officers at about 2.30pm, before more police units came to assist.
At 3.10pm the suspects were stopped by police on the A12 near Woodbridge and two occupants of the vehicle, a 25-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
The car was seized for being driven without insurance.
Both men, from London, were taken to Martlesham police station for questioning.
They were released on bail until Wednesday, February 22, pending further enquiries.
