A coastal pub is getting ready to fire up its oven ahead of the launch of a new pizza menu.
The Stanford Arms in Lowestoft has been getting ready for a busy year with a number of events planned as well as expanding its food offerings.
Last Sunday marked the launch of its Sunday roast dinner service, run by pop-up Fork Off It's Vegan, which proved to be a "brilliant" success with its plant-based, gravy-smothered dishes.
Landlord Dominic Burke, who runs the pub with business partner Toby Westgarth, said: "We had a really great turnout and received lots of brilliant feedback from customers so we are really happy with how it went.
"The food looked amazing and tasted even better."
Roast dinners are served every Sunday between midday and 4pm and while walk-ins are accepted, booking is advised.
As well as the Fork Off It's Vegan pop-up, the pub has also employed a new pizza chef and will soon be launching its new pizza menu which will be served Friday and Saturday.
Mr Burke said: "We are really excited to have our new chef join us and we are working hard to develop a great menu which will be released in the next couple of weeks."
The landlords of The Stanford Arms are also behind Sir Toby's Beers in Norwich, a market stall offering craft beers, local ales and more.
The beer aficionados have brought their knowledge of brewing expertise to the Suffolk pub and have an ever-changing lineup of ales on tap.
While it is a difficult business environment at his time, the pub is hoping to have a successful year with a number of events planned.
Mr Burke added: "It's challenging times right now for the industry but we have been getting organised for the year ahead.
"We are hoping to bring lots of great bands to play at the pub and we are also launching a new quiz night along with our popular music quiz night."
In March, Sir Toby's Beers will celebrate five years in business and has planned a "birthday bonanza" to mark the occasion.
