Asda is making sure no child goes hungry over the February half-term with free bowls of porridge in its cafés.
The supermarket is offering the free hot breakfast between 8am and midday from now until February 22 and it has been made possible thanks to a partnership with Quaker Oats.
There are no terms and conditions attached and it does not rely on a paying adult or a minimum spend.
There are Asda branches across Suffolk in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Stoke Park, Lowestoft and Stowmarket.
Kris Comerford, chief commercial officer, said: “We know when families are preparing for the school holidays it can often mean an additional strain on household budgets – especially feeding and entertaining their children.
"We remain as committed as ever to supporting our customers in tackling these tough times."
There is also a £1 kids menu, with a choice of one of six hot meals or a sandwich meal deal, and this also does not require a qualifying purchase.
