A man in his 20s is recovering after being hurt in a stabbing in a coastal town.
Investigations are continuing as a teenager is "still being questioned" by police in connection with an attack in Lowestoft.
A 24-year-old man was taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston after being stabbed in Lowestoft on Easter Monday.
Police responded to reports that a man had been stabbed after trouble flared during an attack on Minden Road at 7.30pm on Monday, April 10.
Onlookers described seeing three or four police cars, a police van, an ambulance and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service as the top of Minden Road - not far away from a primary school and care home - was closed off on Monday evening.
One witness said that they "heard screaming" among a group of people at the scene, with someone shouting "he's got a knife" as trouble flared.
The police cordon had been removed on Tuesday morning (April 11).
With the 24-year-old man taken to hospital in a stable condition, police subsequently arrested an 18-year-old man, from Lowestoft, on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remained on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning, a Suffolk police spokesman said: "A man is still being questioned about the incident.
"The victim was treated in hospital and has been released.
"No one else injured."
Comments on Facebook have condemned the "absolutely shocking" attack, with people questioning "what is going on in this town?"
With detectives appealing for witnesses to the attack, anyone with information is urged to contact East CID at Lowestoft Police Station, quoting crime reference number 312 of April 10 on 101.
