Scaffolding has been installed at the scene of a fire that destroyed seven flats.
Described a "big project" for the team of specialist scaffolders who scaled the heights over recent days to install the scaffolding at the scene of the flats fire on High Street in Lowestoft, it comes ahead of potential repairs and renovations.
The blaze started in the flats above Vin-Tro and High Street Furnishings shops at 144 High Street in Lowestoft on June 3, with 13 fire crews spending two-and-a-half hours tackling the flames at the height of the blaze.
Two people were rescued from the roof of the building and others were left homeless as the fire gutted seven high street flats.
Investigations into the blaze and a possible arson probe were closed as Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was "undetermined" and police said there was "no clear evidence of arson" behind the blaze.
With the building handed back to the owner in June, the scaffolding has now been put up ahead of potential future renovations.
