People will have the chance to see the latest progress in the construction of the £126.75m Gull Wing bridge in Lowestoft as an open day is held next month.
The long awaited third crossing is set to transform how traffic moves around the town.
With the bridge due to open in 2024 it will provide an essential link from Waveney Drive (south) to Denmark Road and Peto Way (north) of Lake Lothing in Lowestoft.
As leading building and civil engineering contractor Farrans Construction oversee construction works on the Gull Wing, on behalf of Suffolk County Council, three free bookable sessions - with limited spaces - will be run as a 'Public Site Open Day and Tour' takes place on Saturday, October 21.
A Gull Wing spokesman said: "The sessions will consist of a presentation on works taking place around the project as well as a brief history.
"This will then be followed by a walking tour around the Southern side of the site.
"The tour may also include a walk up the Southern Approach itself, however this is subject to surfacing works."
The event is being held free of charge, but due to it being a working site numbers will be limited to 25 places per session - with three sessions being held.
People are being encouraged to "book before they run out" as sessions take place from 9am to 11am, 11.45am to 1.45pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm on October 21
But be quick - as the ticket booking system is available from "2pm today (September 22)" via eventbrite.
For further details, visit the Gull Wing Bridge Facebook page with eventbrite links to the respective three sessions online.
