Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy some seasonal thrills and chills as a town centre was transformed for Halloween.
Interactive street entertainment attracted the crowds as Spooky Saturday took centre stage in Lowestoft town centre and the town's historic High Street on October 28.
A pumpkin trail, free activities for children and families and a circus theme saw a "jam packed" day of events and activities held in the town centre, The Triangle Market and High Street areas.
Organised by Lowestoft Vision - the Business Improvement District (BID) for the town - the turnout was boosted as Lowestoft Town Council held a Halloween Market in the historic Triangle Market.
Angela Grey, Business Improvement District (BID) Manager at Lowestoft Vision, said: "Lowestoft Vision are thrilled with the success of Spooky Saturday 2023.
"With a circus theme, the town saw interactive street entertainment including circus skills and a magic show, free activities for children and families to enjoy including face painting, popcorn and balloon modelling.
"We were delighted with the responses from businesses who told us they were super busy!
"Our friends at Lowestoft Town Council had a successful day too, with the Samba Band turning into the talking point of the day."
With special spooky appearances from the Ghostbusters and Galactic Troopers, East Suffolk One radio provided the Halloween hits as the Marina Samba Band ensured people were dancing.
A range of "great local stalls" provided the treats as a town council spokesman added: "Thank you to everyone that made The Triangle Halloween Market a howling success - it was fang-tastic.
"An extra big shout out goes to the performers and stallholders who entertained the crowds."
Lowestoft Vision's next major event will see the annual Christmas lights switch on bonanza illuminate Lowestoft town centre on Saturday, December 2.
