Investigations are under way after a moped was stolen from the back garden of a home and later found "totally destroyed" after being set on fire.
Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information after a black Yamaha moped was stolen in Lowestoft and later discovered ablaze.
With the moped "stolen and set alight in Lowestoft", a police spokesman said: "The black Yamaha moped was stolen from a back garden in Sussex Road, and was found early this morning (Tuesday, November 14) at about 5.25am off St Margaret's Road along a pathway near railway tracks."
Firefighters from Lowestoft South fire station were alerted following reports of a vehicle fire on St Margarets Road at 4.59am.
They spent over 20 minutes tackling the blaze, with the scene cleared at 5.23am.
The police spokesman added: "Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service notified Suffolk police as the bike was totally destroyed."
