Two teenage boys arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an 82-year-old woman are set to answer bail once more next month as investigations continue.
The teenagers, aged 14 and 15, last answered bail in October as police continue to investigate the murder of Joy Middleditch, who died after a masked robbery at her home in Pakefield, Lowestoft.
With inquiries "ongoing", back at the end of October the teens had their bail period extended for the fifth time.
A murder investigation was launched almost eight months ago after two masked robbers forced their way into Mrs Middleditch's home and knocked her to the ground, before stealing her handbag and fleeing.
The masked intruders left Mrs Middleditch injured and "helpless on the floor" of her bungalow in Grayson Avenue in Pakefield at some point overnight between Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25.
She died at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston on March 27 and a murder investigation was launched.
At the time senior officers described the attack as "callous and cowardly".
A manhunt was launched to find the masked raiders - sparking calls from Suffolk police for the public not to shield the raiders.
Two teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested on March 31 on suspicion of murder four days later and were taken to Martlesham for questioning.
They were later released on police bail until June 7, but this was extended to July 5, then August 28 and then October 2 before they returned to police on October 30.
This week, a police spokesman said: "The teenagers have both been rebailed to December 4."
With witnesses and anyone with doorbell cameras or CCTV footage in the Pakefield area urged to get in touch amid the continuing murder probe, information should be directed to the Major Investigation Team online or call 101.
