The hunt to trace arsonists who targeted a derelict building on a former factory site in another fire has been closed.
An arson probe was launched following a fire at a former factory site in Lowestoft on September 28.
Part of the empty former Jeld Wen timber factory site on Waveney Drive was targeted by arsonists once more following another suspected arson incident on April 25.
The 36-acre redundant industrial site, which is in private ownership, was once home to Boulton and Paul - who opened its joinery factory and timber yard in 1962.
Police investigations were launched after the blaze in a single storey derelict building - measuring 200 metres by 200 metres - was tackled by five fire crews from Norfolk and Suffolk for more than two hours.
At the time police said the blaze was "being treated as arson" as "the fire affected a 10m by 10m area of the derelict factory from floor to roof."
In an update, a police spokesman said: "Barring further evidence, this investigation has been closed."
