An extensive collection of autographs and signed photos featuring some of the world's biggest names in film, TV and music has gone under the hammer at auction.
Having been collected by a man from Lowestoft, known only as Jonathan, the sensational haul of celebrity signatures were displayed across six albums.
With each containing between 85 and 155 signatures, around 750 autographs - mostly on photographs but also on individual letters, notes and theatre programmes - went under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Monday, March 4.
The collection of six albums - which included signatures of stars including Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Sean Connery, Paul Newman and Priscilla Presley - fetched £2,220 at The Lichfield Auction Centre in Staffordshire.
Robert French, ephemera valuer at Richard Winterton Auctioneers, said: "It was very exciting to see the sheer volume of autographs from all fields.
"Not only does the archive feature some of the biggest names in the world from films, TV, radio, music and sport, the majority of the photographs and autographs were signed personally to Jonathan.
"A well-deserved auction result for a fantastic collection put together over 30 years."
