A man is due to appear at crown court next month after being charged with burglary and possession of class B drugs.
Tony Kirk, 45, of High Street, Lowestoft was arrested on Sunday.
He was subsequently charged in connection with the alleged burglary of a house in the town in January, as well as possessing amphetamine and cannabis on Sunday.
A Suffolk police spokesman said Kirk appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.
Kirk will now appear at Ipswich Crown Court on May 7.
