Four motorists were caught speeding by police during enforcement checks this week.

Speed checks were carried out on two busy stretches of roads in the Lowestoft area.

After concerns had been raised about vehicles speeding in areas of the town, Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) were handed out to four drivers for excess speed while other motorists were spoken to by police.

Officers from the Community Policing Team (CPT) carried out the speed enforcement checks in Lowestoft for an hour on Monday (May 20).

It led to four TORs being issued for excess speed while 14 drivers were spoken to following the checks on Peto Way and Normanston Drive in Lowestoft.
