From one of the biggest boybands to a singer with a career lasting more than 50 years, here are seven celebrities you can see in Suffolk this summer.

1. JLS

One of the biggest boybands of the noughties is making hearts beat again as the headline performers at Newmarket Nights at Newmarket Racecourse.

The band's breakthrough song Beat Again topped the charts in 2009, towards the start of their award-winning career.

2. Ed Byrne

When: June 30

Where: The Apex, Charter Square, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3FD

Comedian Ed Byrne is returning to Suffolk with his show making laughs about one of the most tragic events in his life. 

Tickets for the show are sold out but you might spot him in the market town before the show.

3. Tom Jones

When: June 28

Where: Thetford Forest, High Lodge, Brandon IP27 0AF

Tom Jones will be performing as part of the Forest Live series of concerts organised by Forestry England. 

During his performance he will be joined onstage by special guest star Gabrielle.

4. John Bishop

When: July 11 and 12

Where: Ipswich Regent Theatre, St Helen's Street, Ipswich IP4 1HE

The comedian is getting back to doing what he loves most after two years of TV presenting and stage acting. 

John Bishop was only meant to be performing one show in Ipswich but added a second date due to popularity.

5. Jools Holland

When: July 17

Where: Marina Theatre, Lowestoft NR32 1HH

One of the most popular pianists and band leaders in the country is bringing his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to an east Suffolk theatre.

Jules Holland will be joined on stage by a group of special guest vocalists and former Squeeze bandmate Gilson Lavis. 

6. Rick Astley

When: July 27

Where: Henham Park, Southwold NR34 8AQ

Rick Astley is performing as part of this year's line-up for the Latitude Festival. 

The Never Gonna Give You Up singer is performing on the Saturday with other acts like Kasabian and Duran Duran headlining other days of the weekend.

7. Becky Hill

The two-time Brit Awards winner is making her debut as a Newmarket Nights headliner at the start of August. 

Becky Hill has secured 18 top 40 singles and had songs in the top 10 UK charts in collaborations with Sigala and David Guetta.
