Plans to build industrial units on a patch of empty land next to a large cemetery have been unveiled.
The 0.9-hectare (2.2 acres) site, which has been unoccupied for several years, is surrounded by business units on two sides, with housing along another side and Lowestoft's main cemetery on the other.
East Suffolk Council wants to create a new logistics hub on the brownfield land, just off Barnards Way and behind the North Quay retail and industrial park.
The scheme would involve seven light industrial units being created there, for its own housing maintenance service and other local companies.
Now, ahead of plans being lodged, people are being urged to have their say on the proposals.
A council spokesman said: "The council believes that this is an exciting development opportunity to create new light industrial space in Lowestoft.
"The town is already attracting investment and these new units would support economic growth as well as providing new employment opportunities."
View details online and have your say ahead of its submission for planning consent, with a closing date of 5pm next Friday June 14.
