A man is due to appear in court after being charged with numerous offences following a serious crash between a bus and a van.
The head-on collision in Lowestoft closed the busy A47 road for more than five hours.
Emergency services responded to the crash involving a First bus and a flatbed van, with 11 passengers being assessed at the scene as two people were taken to hospital.
It happened on the A47 not far away from Sparrows Nest Gardens and the High Street at about 2.45pm on Saturday, October 28 last year.
The bus driver had to be cut free from his vehicle before he was later taken to hospital.
A man has now been charged by police over the crash.
Jason Surridge, 53, of Belvedere Road in Lowestoft, has been charged with causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving; aggravated vehicle taking; failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis; using a motor vehicle without third party insurance; driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence and obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of his duty.
He is due to answer the charges when he appears before Ipswich Magistrates Court on July 4.
