A local home is offering free refreshments to emergency services personnel in appreciation of their work.
Staff and residents at Oulton Park Care Home in Oulton have invited paramedics, nurses, police officers and other members of the emergency services to take their breaks at the home where they will be treated to free food and drinks.
Sarah Wright, the general manager of Oulton Park said: "To say thank you for all of the great work our emergency services do for us, we here at Oulton Park are inviting all members of the police, ambulance and fire services to pop in and take their duty break on us for free and were delighted that Lowestoft Community Fire Station Red watch popped in yesterday.
"We are pleased to offer all of our local service workers who stop in tea, coffee, juice, chilled water, delicious homemade cake and biscuits and a healthy selection of fruit, available free of charge."
