Sir Tony Robinson visited a coastal town museum before telling voters if they want to see change they have to vote for it.
Campaigning alongside Labour candidate for Lowestoft, Jess Asato, on Wednesday was Sir Tony, who played Baldrick in Blackadder and presented Channel 4’s Time Team.
They met local volunteers at Lowestoft Musuem before going out on a canvassing session with local Labour members.
Sir Tony - a former member of Labour’s national executive committee - highlighted how the choice for voters in Lowestoft is clear.
Sir Tony Robinson, speaking in Lowestoft, said: "Labour has changed. I know it, you know it.
"If you vote Labour on Thursday, we can stop the chaos, turn the page and start to rebuild."
Ms Asato said: "It’s brilliant to have Tony Robinson in Lowestoft on the eve of the election.
"Tony is a legend of the Labour Party, he knows a changed Labour Party when he sees one.
"Change will only come if you vote Labour on July 4."
The other candidates standing for election for the Lowestoft constituency are Peter Aldous (Conservative), Toby Hammond (Green Party), June Mummery (Reform UK) and Adam Robertson (Liberal Democrats).
