A Lowestoft care home is bringing the Olympic spirit to the community with its own sporty affair.
Britten Court Care UK on Love Road is hosting its own version of the Olympic Games on July 27 from 11am to 5pm.
The event is part of The Big Care UK Sports Day, involving more than 130 care homes across Britain.
Visitors can win their own gold medals competing in fun games like egg-and-spoon, relay, and wheelbarrow races.
The day will also include a summer barbecue by head chef, Kamal Djedda, and karaoke for guests.
Chloe Swarbrick, home manager at Britten Court, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the local community to join our own sporting celebrations.
“We are part of a strong community here in Lowestoft, and days like this are a fantastic way of bringing us all together for a little healthy competition and to celebrate this year’s summer of sport, all while showcasing exactly what life is like here at Britten Court."
"We can’t wait until kick-off."
