A Pride event celebrating love, diversity, and community will fill a Lowestoft park with vibrant colours and friendship next month.
Organised by the town council, the event on Saturday, August 3 promises top-notch live entertainment and informative stalls from 11am until 7pm.
The musical stage at Sparrows Nest Gardens will feature Lowestoft-based trio Triple Entendre, punk choir the Screamin’ Seagulls and community group Suffolk Sober Spaces.
These acts will be complemented by the rhythmic beats of Marina Samba Band, infusing a carnival-like atmosphere into the festivities.

Ivy Aphrodite, a popular act, will also grace the stage alongside several other performers.
A wide assortment of stalls, each championing the LGBT+ community, will also be present.
They will offer various activities and information on organisations such as True Colours Lowestoft, Oasis, LGBTQ+ Project and many more.
In keeping with the town council's climate initiatives, attendees are advised to use public transport or other alternative means due to limited car parking availability.
Mayor Nasima Begum expressed her delight in welcoming back the event, recognising the pivotal role it plays in the community.
Councillr Begum said: “We are delighted to host Lowestoft Pride once again.

"This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our diverse community and promote inclusivity.
"We champion all our community, and we’re here to represent everybody.
"It’s an opportunity to educate and signpost people to various organizations to offer support and advice.”
