Lowestoft Lions have donated £850 to a hospital, boosting privacy and patient comfort.
The James Paget University Hospital received the gift from the group, with officials including branch president Michael Cook presenting the cheque.
The funds will buy a radio for the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) and two iPads for the Theatres team.
The tech will offer bespoke entertainment to young patients facing surgery, replacing use of an ageing 'Where's Wally' book.

The radio will help provide a more private atmosphere in the SAU, a specially built facility treating emergency and routine surgery patients.
Several said the quiet room exposed conversations, prompting the radio request.
Maxine Taylor, James Paget Hospital charity manager, said: “We are very grateful to Lowestoft Lions for their continuing support for our hospital and our patients.
"This generous donation will fund the iPads to allow young people to have a choice of entertainment when they are having surgery and allow older patients to have a little more privacy and some music when they are staying in our Surgical Assessment Unit."
The purchased items will soon come into operation.
