A popular Suffolk beach has been named among the top three most relaxing in the country.
Denes Beach in Southwold has been ranked as the third most serene place in the UK in a new study by spaseekers.com.
The study counted the number of times the words 'relaxing' and 'relax' were used in online reviews of the town.
In all of the reviews about Denes Beach, 6.6% used these two words to describe it making it the third-most relaxing beach in the view of its visitors and residents.
The two beaches that beat Denes Beach to the top spot was Frinton in second and Meadfoot Beach in first.
Denes Beach, which is just north of the main beach in Southwold, is dog-friendly and a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beach.
It is a quiet shingle beach, and although facilities are limited, toilets are available.
