Tools were stolen from a van while the owner was speaking with a customer at their front door.
Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the theft from a van parked in Kessingland, south of Lowestoft.
The van parked on Catchpole Close in Kessingland was targeted over the weekend.
A police spokesman said: "An unknown person gained entry to the van on Saturday, September 21 sometime between 11am and 11.15am whilst the van owner was talking to a customer at their front door.
"Tools were stolen from the van."
