Motorists are being warned they could face disruption as part of a busy road is temporarily closed with traffic diverted.
Suffolk County Council will be carrying out urgent works next week on a section of the B1532 London Road in Pakefield, Lowestoft.
A road closure and diversion routes will be in force with the works taking place next Monday, December 5, from 9.30am to 2pm.
According to the Suffolk Roadworks map "delays are likely" as the work is carried out "from Cliftonville Road junction to A12 London Road roundabout."
The works will take place to remove "branches threatening to fall into the highway or likely to be in collision with passing vehicles."
Traffic will be diverted along the A12, B1384, B1532 and vice versa, with travellers using First Eastern Counties Buses being warned of the temporary closure.
A post on the First bus website said: "London Road, Pakefield will be closed on Monday, December 5 to allow Horticultural works to take place.
"Service 99 will be diverted via Stradbroke Road and Bloodmoor Road in both directions, during this time."
